What is Gold Leaf?
The gold leaf we use on our products in actual 24KT gold that has been hammered into very fine sheets as in the picture on the right. We purchase our gold leaf from a reputable source so you can be assured of its quality.
We do not use imitation gold leaf. Our leaf is genuine 24KT gold.
What is Gilding?
Gilding is simply the process of applying the gold leaf to a surface. There are different methods of gilding depending on the surface to which the leaf will be applied as well as the skill of the gilder.

What Special Care Needs To Be Given To My Cherub?
Although gold will never tarnish, gold leaf is fragile. All of our cherub's wings are sealed after the gold leaf is applied to help ensure the gold's longevity. Care should be taken when dusting your cherub. Please lightly dust with only a dry cotton cloth.
